Carlson's Consulting provides objective and unbiased advice on the
cost, design and administration of employee benefit plans to clients nationwide. Our firm
empowers clients with an understanding of the various options available to them.
Using strategic planning and problem solving skills, we develop
innovative yet practical solutions based on our extensive training and experience. Working
well with employees at all levels, we translate ideas into reality.
Clients range from high-tech software development companies to
not-for-profit and union-negotiated plans. Both technical and process projects are
accepted and the managing principal completes all work.
Over 25 years of experience in the employee benefits
field ranging from COO of a Third Party Administration & Managed Care Organiztion to a
licensed insurance broker.
In addition to being a Fellow Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), I teach
employee benefits at the University of Houston and have taught at Roosevelt University and
the University of Illinois.
I am past president of the International Society of CEBS and was appointed to the Medical
Savings Account (MSA) advisory board for the Wharton School at the University of
Peennsylvania. In addition, I designed and taught the Welfare Plan Basics course for the
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
I have published articles on employee benefits and been a speaker at various national and
local meetings.
