Establishment and development of the Rehabilitation Services

Department including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreational Therapy. Previously the department was a contract service. The development included complete preparation of a Policy and Procedure Manual, equipment purchases and complete staffing. Establishment of Clinical Affiliations Development of Criteria based performance appraisals for the hospital overall and specifically for each job description in Rehabilitation Services.

Other duties and responsibilities included:

Development and Implementation of a Back Rehabilitation Program, including a Work-Hardening Program and an Audio-visual presentation. Computerized back evaluations accomplished as a result of Isostation B-200.

Development and implementation of Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise program [before and after childbirth].

Development and implementation of a Stay-Fit Program for Senior Citizens.

Development and implementation of a Medical / Psychiatric Program for clients of New Spirit and Rapha Programs.

Participation in the development of a hospital based skilled nursing facility.

Development of department annual budget with successful operation with in that budget each year.

Participation with training as a facilitator in, Managing Quality, a participatory management program.
